Workshops at Kings Lynn Arts Centre
James spent several days with us in the run up to his exhibition at the King’s Lynn Art centre and then delivered some education work with us. He relates extremely well to children and young people and his work is so direct and engaging. He was very easy to work with and has a high standard for his work and an easy-going manner. Also the playful nature of his work really contributes to breaking down barriers to the gallery.

Mega May Pole building workshops at Cecil Sharp House, home of The English Folk Dance and Song Society, Camden, London, May 2009
Workshop at Cecil Sharp House, EFDSS
We were really happy with James Johnson-Perkins' workshop for our May celebrations event. The whole concept of building a giant Mega Bloks maypole really caught people's imagination - children and adults alike loved it! We also really appreciated the care and thought he put into the preparation, which made the event a great success.
